Seeing first hand and having close encounters with the incredible animal world are the main reasons why millions of people every year travel great distances away from home. Watching a grey whale calf come close to your boat and stare you in the eye, or a cheetah in mid-sprint after a zebra; an elephant mom protecting her baby, or a magnificent silverback gorilla looking after his family, or millions of Monarch butterflies flying over your head or a giant manta ray swimming underneath you. Even though we are already grown ups, the animal world will continue being an enigma drawing our fascination like when we were kids. Wildlife watching trips are today the reason why many animal species are still alive and not gone extinct, and the most potent way every traveler becomes an ambassador in favor of conservation and animal protection.
